Rigo Aguilar, b. Michoacan, Mexico in 1985, Rigo came to the U.S. with his mother when he was about 1.5-2 years old. He lived in Los Angeles until he was 21. He was arrested and deported to Nogales, Mexico in the Fall of 2005. Separated from his girlfriend and son, he moved in with family near Tijuana, Mexico and began working in 2006.
Densi Diaz was born and lived in Honduras until 15 years old. His mother died when he was five and he was abandoned by his family. He traveled alone to the U.S. in 2001. he was detained in three different jails, mostly in Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall for more than a year and a half. He lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.
Johny Figueroa was born and lived in El Progresso,
Honduras. He lived with relatives when his mother moved tothe U.S., but subsequently died there after giving birth to Johny's sister. He came to U.S. at 15 in 2001 and was detained in Los Padrinos Hall for five months. He studies at Pasadena City College and works at Jovenes, Inc.
Wilber Garcia was born in Esquintla, Guatemala and lived there until he was 16 years old. He traveled on his own to the U.S. to reunite with his father. He was arrested and placed in Central Juvenile Hall from 2002-2003. He graduated from Rose City High School. He and his wife Karen have a baby girl Lilianni, who was baptized in August,
2007.
